Lindsay Joiner Keller Memorial
Lindsay Joiner Keller was an extremely talented young woman who had a deep love of music and a passion for sharing it with children. For more than six years, Lindsay worked with JCC, first as the Training Choir Conductor and later as the “voice” for all practice recordings.
As the Training Choir Conductor, it was Lindsay’s smile and enthusiasm that excited the children and it was her unique and fun-loving approach that introduced them to the fundamentals of music theory as well as vocal techniques. For many JCC children, Lindsay was their first introduction to the wonder of music. Lindsay was their guide, their mentor and their role model.
To ensure her love of music continues in the hearts of local children, the family of Lindsay Joiner Keller has established a scholarship in her memory. A scholarship will be awarded from this fund each year to ensure a child who loves to sing is given the opportunity to do so.
Her husband, Steve, wrote, “Lindsay’s biggest desire was to have assurance her life had made a difference, those she touched would be changed for the good.”
Please consider a gift to this scholarship fund, in remembrance of Lindsay.
