Cantate
Cantate is a fun, friendly, non-auditioned choir of adult sopranos and altos.
The ensemble rehearses Mondays, 11 AM - 12 PM, or Wednesdays, 6 PM - 7 PM in Downtown Jacksonville at the headquarters of the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, 62 Main Street North. Cantate will perform with the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus in concert. This intergenerational program will unite younger and older generations to enrich participants' lives. Cantate made its premiere on December 16, 2023, during JCC’s sold-out Annual Cool Side of Yuletide Concert at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church.
Rehearsals for the fall semester will begin on September 30, 2024.
Fee per semester:
$150 tuition - due at time of registration.
Attire for performances ($175). Prior choral experience preferred. Contact us for more information.
