TRAINING CHOIR
The Training Choir is open to all children in grades 2-6 who love to sing!
The Training Choir is a performing choir open to all children in grades 2-6 who love to sing! In weekly rehearsals, singers experience a fun and engaging lesson where they learn fundamental music theory and new vocal techniques!
Unlike our other performing choirs, the Training Choir is a semester-based program. Each session is 12 weeks long and takes place in both the fall and spring semesters. Participating singers receive professional instruction where they learn the basics of reading music and how to cohesively sing with other students. This choir is a performing choir and there will be a minimum of four performances per year, including major seasonal concerts.
Auditions will be held for the Fall Semester and Spring Semesters. Auditions are completely free and encouraged for any child who loves to sing! Full and partial scholarships are available on a financial need basis.
