From the desk of the President and artistic director

Thank you so much! I am truly grateful to announce that we have reached our $52,532 goal!

As we embrace the new year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to all our patrons, donors, and supporters who have made 2024 an extraordinary year for the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we successfully achieved our matching grant goal by December 31, with total contributions of $55,085! Your contributions are already making a significant impact on our mission to enrich young lives through singing.

This milestone is just one of the many highlights from the first half of our 2024/2025 Season. With your support, events like the Honors Choir Festival, Young People’s Concert, performances at retirement communities, and The Coolside of Yuletide concerts have provided singers with meaningful performance opportunities and brought joy to sold-out audiences.

Our talented young singers are back in rehearsals, eagerly preparing for a spectacular lineup of Spring 2025 performances. Stay tuned for exciting updates about what’s ahead, including some thrilling news about the JCC in the new year!

Have you secured your tickets for the annual “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing” or our 30th anniversary concert “Songs of Joy?

I’d love to see you there!

An inspiring annual celebration honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and commemorating Black History Month. Our spirits will rejoice as the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus shares the stage with the talented Morehouse College Glee Club for a powerful performance. Together, we will pay tribute to those who paved the way for future generations in the ongoing pursuit of equity for all.

Join us in celebrating 30 years of song with The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus as we mark this momentous occasion in our 30th anniversary season! From a humble beginning with just 16 singers in 1995, The JCC has joyfully grown to serve thousands of children annually through the power of music. This special celebration will feature a performance of John Rutter's "Magnificat." Come be a part of this incredible journey!
