The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus Presents Vibrant Art Walk Event Celebrating Community and Culture.
The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus (JCC) is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming Art Walk event in Downtown Jacksonville, scheduled for March 6th, 2024. This occasion marks the return of The JCC to the heart of the city as they celebrate their one year anniversary in their new facility.
Highlighted in the evening’s program is a special performance by acclaimed JCC Alum, Godiva, presenting songs from her latest EP, "Don’t Bring the Rain Clouds".
A centerpiece of the event will be the unveiling of a stunning painting of the Vystar Tower, commissioned from the talented local artist, Lisa Lofton. This artistic tribute not only celebrates the iconic presence of the Vystar building in Downtown Jacksonville but also signifies the invaluable support of Vystar Credit Union in making the JCC's dream a reality in their new home.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore an array of captivating artworks adorning the walls of the JCC's new state-of-the-art facility. These pieces, all commissioned from esteemed local artists such as Keith Doles, mactruque, and Heather Blanton, pay homage to the vibrant spirit of Jacksonville and the enduring legacy of the JCC within the community.
