The Jacksonville Children's Chorus Announces New Board Members
Jacksonville, Fla. – October 13, 2023 —The Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC) is embarking on an exciting new journey as they proudly announce the addition of three accomplished individuals to their esteemed Board of Directors. This development comes as the chorus remains committed to its mission of providing exceptional music education for children of diverse backgrounds creating impactful choral performances.
The JCC's dedication to enriching the lives of young talents through choral music has been at the core of its existence since its inception. The JCC’s Board of Directors assists in continuing to further the mission of the organization and the accessibility of high-quality music education to the children of Northeast Florida.
Joining the board is John Thompson, Private Wealth Advisor/Owner of Congruent Wealth, Arend Dorsett, Sr. Operations Business Leader at Unison, and Ryan Hesser, VP of Third-Party Risk and Associate Legal Counsel at Vystar Credit Union. Each new member brings a wealth of experience and expertise, along with an unwavering commitment to the arts and a passion for supporting the development of young minds.
The JCC is delighted to share that Susana Cruz, Marketing Account Executive, at McGriff Insurance, will be transitioning from her current role as Vice Chair to the position of Board Chair. With three years of dedicated service on the JCC board and an impressive second-place win in the 2021 River City Dancing With The Stars competition, Susana has long been a cherished supporter and steadfast friend to The JCC. The organization is filled with confidence and anticipation for the outstanding contributions Susana will undoubtedly make, providing invaluable support to both The JCC staff and its talented young singers.
